- He was born November 7, 1889 or 1890 in London, England. He was living in Canada before coming to the United States circa 1918. He was very active as a singer/song leader in evangelistic campaigns in the U.S. up into the late 1930s. At some point after that, he returned to England and died there in 1965. Some records give his name as D’Albert instead of Dalbert.
