John C. Cort

John C. Cort, who died in 2006, was an indefatigable crusader for labor and social justice starting after college, when he served as one of the original volunteers at the Catholic Worker. He went on to help found the Association of Catholic Trade Unionists, and served in the Peace Corps and later afficher plus as organizer of the ILGWU for the AFL. He was co-editor of the journal Religious Socialism, and a key organizer of the Democratic Socialists of America. afficher moins
