It is easy to get caught up in our thoughts, and often, it is easier to get stuck when the thoughts are negative. As the second book in her Mindset series, Mimika Cooney addresses that issue and more in this book.

Having read many of Mimika Cooney’s books, I always enjoy her easy writing style and the way she gets her readers thinking about whatever topic she addresses in that particular book. I love how she breaks her subjects down into bite-size pieces that are easy to digest. I always find myself unable to put her books down, and this book lived up to my expectations.

So, if you are looking for a work of Christian Non-Fiction that focuses on Mindset, Women’s Christian Living, and Personal Growth, check out Unstick Your Mind: Shift Your Mindset, Develop Grit & Break Barriers by Mimika Cooney. I definitely recommend it, as well as her other books.

This is a book that will be used many times by me. I sometimes wish I could tell my mind to be quiet and it would actually listen. With this book I have tools that will help me stop the negative thoughts. The author provides practical tools along with scriptures and stories that help readers overcome what the enemy uses to deter us from God.

I liked the scientific facts provided as well. It is evident that much research has been done in the book to guide us to make clearer and more Biblical decisions. There is hope and I like that the author teaches us about doubt, anxiety and taking control over our minds.
