First off I liked all the characters in this story. I also liked the world where this takes place. There are witches, warlocks, fairy’s, trolls and ghosts; all of them were fun.. There was plenty of romance and sparks but also treachery and forgiveness. I was glad that Parris whose parents were gone and only grew up with her grandmother was able slowly build up her support system into a family that works towards good. There were some minor glitches in syntax and mistakes in wording but a good editor could fix them easily. All in all, I liked this and will probably read more in this series.
