This book had gorgeous illustrations. It was a pretty book and went into detailed descriptions of the backyard.

At first describing my backyard being a wide lawn with birds singing and where dogs run. then my mother plants while my father cuts the backyard. Then described plows, horses, farm boys, cows and lonesome cowboys died in my backyard. Then great mammoths waved their trunks in my backyard. At the end describing the hand of god moved in my backyard.

This would be a good book to read to very young students. However, the end of the book mentions God. Therefore, you would not be able to read this book in a public school. The illustrations are gorgeous!
