Ambassador of Air Travel: The Untold Story of… par Ev Cassagneres
A detailed stop by stop retelling of Lindbergh's goodwill tours after he returned from his record-setting New York to Paris flight. The details are impeccable but for the casual reader become somewhat tedious. I recommend reading the summaries and skipping the blow-by-blow of each stop. The depth of popular appreciation of Lindbergh and the how he captured the country's imagination really come through from this book and help set the historical context of Lindbergh.
