My dear OH and I don’t have any children, instead we’ve had two fur babies. The thing which cat lover knows is that cats are independently a sneaking entity, which this illustrated book by Elliot Carruthers deftly. The best way we’ve found to choose a cat at a shelter is to let the cat pick you and not you picking the cat.
One of the fur children we had us to pick it up, cradle it in our arms to be scratch, and when it wanted to put back down, it would stroke our noses. We had no need for an alarm clock, for each morning they would as a team wake us up an hour earlier to be fed. They would leave us messages on the floor of our bedroom that they wanted their litter box to be cleaned and have new litter place in it.
As far as feeding them, if they didn’t like what they got, they would just come to where we were, sit down, look at one of us and start meowing, give me something else to eat.
This is a charming, delightfully fun book to read for any cat lover/owner as they can often see the same sort of shenanigans in their cats as Mr. Carruthers had drawn in his book, which is why this book lover and cat lover has given this book the rating it has gotten of 5 STARS… (plus d'informations)
