Sally strives to do everything perfectly. She is secretly scared she'll do something wrong and not be accepted.Her teacher and mom help her understand that doing her best and achieving that is better than worrying to be perfect. Because after all, nobody is perfect.

Lovely little book.
I think it is great that an author writes about uncertainty, perfectionism, how (some)children see themselves. It may be a great help to let children who suffer from perfectionism or the thought that they aren't worth anything, who are afraid to make mistakes see, that making mistakes, not getting straight A's, being different is not so bad at all.

Sally is an overachiever. Rather it's piano, drama, soccer, or grades Sally wants to be the best at everything. Throughout the course of the book sally feels disappointed whenever she makes a mistake and fears trying new things. All of sally's friends and teachers assure her that it's normal to make mistakes and that she should be focused on enjoying what she is doing. The final talk takes place with Sally's mother who shows her that enjoying yourself is just as important as being good at something and you can only get better at things if you try.… (plus d'informations)
