A great collection of Gaelic songs, with scores and Gaelic lyrics with English translation. Not nearly as erudite as Anne Lorne Gillies' Songs of Gaelic Scotland, but (since it's ring-bound) a lot easier to put on the piano or keyboard.
A good collection of songs that are written out in keys that are designed to be 'comfortable for singers and not too challenging for instrumentalists,' with some settings for guitar and pipes and lyrics in Gaelic with full English translation. Even as a Gaelic learner I spotted some flaws in the English translation, but I've enjoyed picking out the tunes on the keyboard, and I appreciate the fact that the collection puts the emphasis on 'little' songs, and thus provides a valuable complement to the first Ceol nam Feisean book.… (plus d'informations)
