I didn't actually read the Kindle edition. It's just that the other edition had no picture of the cover, and without that picture you'd miss half the charm of this book: the awesome comic-book-style illustrations. This is supposedly for kids, but I think readers of all ages will be caught up in the snappy narrative and dreamy, detailed, action-packed pictures. I particularly loved the demons, rendered as giant, weapon-wielding dinosaurs. I read the Ramayana in some version approximately 100 years ago, when I was in high school, but it's amazing how much I forgot. This was an enjoyable refresher for one of the world's greatest stories.
