A collection of connected and intertwined eerie, violent and unusual stories that echo the truth of living in small town Ontario. The Pump is plagued with dirty water, discrimination, violence and killer beavers- enough to keep you interested in its own right. However it was truly Brooman's storytelling and craft that kept me flipping the pages until I was finished. I was immensely engrossed while reading, and I enjoyed discovering the links between characters in each story. Can't wait to read what they publish next!
