I absolutely love this book! It's miniature versions of those amazing four women we know and love. Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia. This book is so delightful, I've already recommended it to several customers! Even if your child has no idea what a staple the Golden Girls was, they can still enjoy getting to know them in this lovely little book.

Apple-Picking Day is a fantasy book because they give dog human qualities. This book is about a family and their dog that goes apple picking. While apple picking the dog tries to find a way he can help because he is so small he can’t reach any of the apples to pick them. A teacher could use this book in their classroom when talking about fall. After reading this book they could do an activity that has to do with apples. The illustrations in this book are very bright and colorful.

This book gives information about where coral reefs are located, what lives in them, and what they are. It also discusses different types of reefs and some of the predators that live around it as well as humans being the predator of coral. The causes and effects of global warming is also talked about as well as what people can do to help lessen pollution.

This is a horrible commercial book that our kids desperately wanted to buy from the Scholastic book order. There is no story, just pictures of 80 of the toys from the Hasbro "Littlest Pet Shop" that children will want to buy. It came with a pet toy, from Scholastic. Two thumbs down! from parents, and three thumbs up from the 7 year old children who love these toys. Ugh.½
