Disappointing. The pictures aren't good enough to really see the textiles. They are also often not on the same page as the text describing them. That text is not clearly written, jumps around both in time and space, and in several places compares apples with oranges (and sometimes turnips, I think). Including filet embroidery on net and tatting in the chapter on crochet shows a lack of understanding of all these techniques.
