The heroine is the executive assistant to the hero's brother, and she has dreams of having a career. The real interaction between the heroine and the hero begins with a business meeting in which she's taking notes that the hero reads later, which gives an unedited annotation about said meeting and the hero. Then the heroine and the hero are roped together to plan a company's Valentine's Day Social, which brings them together a lot more than before. With the heroine keeping some secrets and a cautious hero with a past, what will happen to their growing relationship when said issues comes to the forefront?

This is the second book in THE HARTS series by Jennifer Bonds. The set of characters really stand out in this book, especially the interrelationships of brothers and friends. I enjoyed the author's writing style and the story vibe, even with certain areas of the story needing some more details in my opinion. I liked both the heroine and the hero, but they did have moments in which I wanted them to be more open with their communications. I liked the support group that surrounded the couple, especially the familial love that shone through. With a great book cover and an entertaining story, this is a wonderful addition to THE HART series. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more Jennifer Bonds books in the future.

This is a really fun and funny workplace romance. Scarlett is the quirky Admin Assistant working toward her master’s degree. Nick is the grumpy CEO and one of three brothers who own the company. He’s not Scarlett’s direct boss but since he can’t seem to hold on to an Admin Asst of his own, they get stuck working together on a project to help boost employee satisfaction.

This book is worth the read for its snarky banter and chemistry between the two. Nick’s interaction with Oreo is adorable. I previously enjoyed the first book in the series, Miles and Miles of You and I’m looking forward to reading Beck’s story.

Lucy Gonzalez has spent the last several years of her life tirelessly scheduling the life of Triada executive, Miles Hart. As his personal assistant, she knows intimate details of Miles' life, but she seems to be background noise is his life. So, Lucy quits for her own venture, travelling cross country on route 66 in her grandmother's Airstream as the #SoSavvyTraveler influencer. However, just as Lucy is leaving, Milaes realizes that he can't manage his life without Lucy. In an attempt to win her back to work, Miles invites himself on her road trip hoping that Lucy won't be able to turn down the bet he offers. Lucy is determined to make this work in her favor, but travelling in close quarters with the guy she's always had a crush on may not work out in Lucy's favor.
Miles and Miles of You is a super fun romance that goes from sweet to heat throughout the story. From the beginning, I knew Lucy would be a force to reckon with; although her job is to assist powerhouse billionaire Miles, Lucy is fierce, organized and knows what she wants out of life. The time on the road with Lucy and Miles was super fun, although it was a weird scenario for either character to agree to. I loved exploring Route 66 with Lucy and Miles, I just wish Miles had better intentions from the beginning. His backstory is intriguing, but it made his actions undesirable and unfair for Lucy. The steamy parts of the story were amazing and I enjoyed sinking into this romance from both Lucy and Miles' points of view.
This book was received for free in return for an honest review.½

The heroine was the executive assistant to the hero for two years and has an unrequited crush on him. Feeling unappreciated, the heroine quit and left the hero to fend for himself at work. Desperate for the heroine to get back and continue as his assistant, the hero decided to come along with the heroine on her road trip. How will the two fares during the trip and will feelings change along the way?

This is the first book in The Harts series featuring a Texas billionaire hero and a feisty heroine. I enjoyed reading the banter between the main couple and how each discovered a lot about the other one during the road trip. I also liked the secondary characters that surrounded the couple, especially the heroine's unique grandmother. This is a fun romantic read full of Jennifer Bonds' distinctive writing style. I would have liked some more details in certain areas of the story, but my personal preference wasn't a deterrent in my enjoyment of the book. Overall, an entertaining read and looking forward to reading more The Harts books in the future.

Lucy Gonzalez has been secretly in love with her self-absorbed boss for two years. Finally, she’s had it. She gives him two weeks’ notice on a signed post-it note and starts planning the next steps of her life. Miles doesn’t believe his admin assistant will leave him, so he doesn’t worry about a replacement. After a week of chaos, he packs a bag and invites himself along on Lucy’s Rte. 66 road trip. She hopes to start a new career as a travel influencer, and he hopes to get his assistant back.

This was a quick, fun, and spicy read. I loved the banter between Miles and Lucy and enjoyed reading about all the trouble the two got into. It was an entertaining read with a dual POV, which is my favorite.

I had fun with this book! I didn’t go into this book with many expectations since this is the first time that I have read this author’s work. I do love a road trip book and I was pleasantly surprised that they made at least one stop not too far from my neck of the woods. I found myself flying through the pages once I started reading this book and couldn’t wait to see Miles and Lucy find their happily ever after together.

Feeling underappreciated and frustrated, Lucy quits her job and decides to try her luck becoming a travel influencer. Her boss MIles, who Lucy happens to be in love with, is lost without her so he decides to tag along on her two-week trip to convince her to come back to the office. Lucy’s plans are to travel Route 66 from Chicago to California stopping at all of the sites along the way. Her goals of getting noticed online come to fruition only after she posts photos of her travel companion minus his shirt. Lucy and Miles end up learning a lot about each other while the sparks fly during their road trip.

I liked Miles and Lucy together. I loved the way Miles finally got to know the real Lucy, which happened to be very different than the reserved woman he thought he knew from the office. Watching them open up to each other and eventually give in to chemistry was great. I really liked the fact that Miles really did want to see Lucy happy as he realized the job he thought she was perfect in may not have left her fulfilled. I had a great time watching them try to figure things out.

I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this book was very well done and loved the fact that it was told from both Miles’s and Lucy’s points of view. There was even enough humor worked into the story to keep things very entertaining. I hope to get my hands on the next book in this fun romantic series.

I received a digital review copy of this book from Entangled: Amara.

Lovely little story about Harper, a trainee nurse and Chase, a football player at the same university, who meet at a feat party that ends in disaster for him. That he doesn't remember her is a blessing for Harper. Or is it? Well drawn characters and a great scene for the development of this story.

3.5 out of 5 stars!

The sibling of the hero from the first book of this series finally gets his own book! This royal black sheep meets his match in the heroine, an independent woman burdened with familial financial problems. What happens when the hero takes charge of his life and the heroine needs scandalous news for financial gain while the couple falls in love under this inauspicious conditions?

This is an enjoyable addition to the Royally Engaged series. Though the hero isn't a fave type of mine, there are strong personality traits that redeemed him in my eyes. I also commiserated with the heroine and her troubles, though there were some that could have been resolved with open communication from the start. It's also nice to see cameo appearances from characters introduced in the first book. Overall, I look forward to more of this Jennifer Bonds series.

4.5/5 stars!

When the heroine learns about her ex-boyfriend's lawsuit against her, she needed to use her artistic outlet to vent. And as she threw purple paint to her wall canvas, out stepped the hero right as said paint was thrown. To add to it, the whole scene is caught by the paparazzi. Therefore, the heroine's reputation is in tatters because the hero is actually a prince. To make reparations, the hero asked the heroine to enter a fake relationship, which he also hoped can ease the pressure that his royal parents have for him to marry soon. With the help of friends, extended family, and personal charm, the hero and heroine fall in love, but will it last?

With the beginning of this book, I found the story to be entertaining and engaging with colorful characters and a couple that stood strong and resilient. I found the heroine's extended family to be loving and hope to read more of the hero's siblings in future books. I also would have liked to have the resolution to the lawsuit to be extended for my own personal pleasure. I enjoyed the sexy times and the funny times that the couple have. And there was also the cat, who definitely has some opinions of its own. In conclusion, this is a wonderful start to the series and I look forward to reading more Jennifer Bonds books.

Once Upon A Dare is HOT!!!! Cole and Olivia steamy chemistry practically burns through the pages. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. Olivia is a take charge woman who goes after what she wants. When crosses paths with a sexy stranger and is dared to seduce him-she does. The situation becomes awkward when Olivia discovers that Cole(the sexy stranger) at work. Not only that but he has been given the promotion she considered hers. What happens now? Can they make a relationship work? Am always a fan of strong female characters in a story. If a man can have an alpha personality, why can't a woman? I will be reading more Jennifer Bonds in the future.

Let the games begin...

No matter what Jax threw her way Becca stood her own. The charm of Seducing the Fireman is that the characters share a history. The good, bad and frustrating makes for a tug of war that is seductive, stormy and entertaining. I received an ARC of Seducing the Fireman in exchange for an honest review. You'll need a fire hose or a bucket of water to cool down from this sexy read.

A delectable face-off where the winner takes all. Ryan and Chloe had so much electricity the aftershocks strengthened the blaze. Chloe is just like me, if you try to force her into a corner she is going to come out swinging. Ryan wants to do more than spar with Chloe. He is looking for an outlet for his frustration, uncertainty and something that will make him feel alive again. I received an ARC of Once Upon a Play in exchange for an honest review. Explosive chemistry, passionate characters and heated storytelling, all the makings of a memorable read.

Romances between Alpha males and independent women are always complicated and such is the case with Olivia and Cole. A chance meeting over the weekend spurred by a dare from a friend leads to a one night stand. Unbeknownst to them Cole turns out to be the partner that Olivia's boss chooses over her. And from there begins the rivalry. But the attraction between them is undeniable, the chemistry explosive. Can they maintain a professional relationship, or will their relationship overshadow her integrity at the advertising agency?

I just love second chance love stories and this one is a winner. Jackson "Jax" Hart is back in town with one goal in mind, to track down Frankie his childhood sweetheart and explain why he disappeared all those years ago. Becca "Frankie" Mancini has never been able to get over being stood up by Jax and that has been the driving away force behind every relationship she has ever had.

When she spots him in a bar in Manhattan, the opportunity to have her revenge is ripe, so she approaches him and it's just her luck that he doesn't recognize the woman she's grown into.

The rest is fictional history as Becca realises that revenge is not as sweet as she thought it would be and Jax is willing to do anything so that she can become the woman he dreams of holding in his arms forever. As is the norm with people who have major hangups they each do their damnedest to destroy their relationship but Jax's determination in the end wins.

I did enjoy the story it kept me entertained one afternoon. So we meet the Ice Queen, Olivia as she is known in the office. She is an Ice Queen because she is focus on moving up in her job and doesn't really take crap. On a night out of town her friend dares her to get a hot night and she found her victim and had said hot night, thinking she will never see him. Unfortunately, for her she meets him again at her job and Cole gets the promotion she wanted..Now what to do, ignore him or keep doing what she really want to do even thought she wont admit..

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) My voluntary thoughts and opinion are my own.

Chloe Jacobs is unlucky in love! And this latest stand up is truly the last straw! She is done with men!! After one disappointment after another, she was calling it a day with all men! Especially jocks!

Ryan Douglas looks like he has it all! As the captain of the NY Rangers, really! What problems could he have! A lot actually! After a blade cut deeply into his leg which led to missing more than 40 games, oh and to top that, his then girlfriend left him as soon as he was injured….yeah he’s so lucky

But then fate steps in and Ryan and Chloe meet in such unusual circumstances…a hold up at a convenience store, one in which Chloe literally knocks the perp out! And it leads to a hot and steamy night between these two; one that Chloe thinks is a one night stand! But nope, that doesn't happen either.

After a few bumps in the road, Ryan and Chloe start something great together, until an ex comes between them and destroys everything…and you are left wondering if this is finally it!!!

So I am going to be completely honest about the 2 reasons why I chose this book. 1, it's a hockey romance and I am TOTALLY in love with those right now!!!! And 2, the author lives in the town next to mine!!! So I had to show some Central Pennsylvania love there, and although I would normally recommend that you all read the reviews and blurb before reading the book, I went with my heart and I am super excited to say that I chose right!!!

This book was such a joy to read from the moment I swiped the page! I loved the characters, story line and the actual flow was perfect. I will say that I hope that Bash gets his own book, because man! He deserves it. This book really grips you and keeps you sucked in till the last page and I have read this story at least 10 times since it hit my kindle!

So what it comes down to in the end score and that is really a no brainier! Because I give Once Upon A Power Play 10 out of 10 and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

"5 out of 5 stars!! On the night that Chloe decides on giving up on dating and men, she meets Ryan (a pro-hockey player) at a grocery store and gets into a fight with him over a lime. What starts as arrogance on both their parts leads to protection when they get into an unexpected situation, than they find themselves fueled by more lust for one another then they ever expected. Yet as their lives unintentionally become thrown together, they get into a relationship where they’ll have to decide if they are willing to overcome their preconceived notions and fall for one another for good, or if they’ll have their past relationship hurts dictate what their future will hold.

I know the words I’m about to use do not really sound right together BUT they describe this novel to a T … as it was Erotically Adorable! *hehee* Basically..."

Once I started reading this story, I could not stop. I loved it! It is well written with a lot of sass and many steamy moments. I love that it revolves around hockey as well. The characters are well developed, likable and easy to relate to. Their chemistry is amazing and Ryan is hot! A must read.

This was my first time reading one of Ms. Bonds' books and I look forward to reading more. I love her writing style and mixture of humor, suspense and romance.

Ryan Douglas and Chloe Jacobs met at the local grocery store and share a life-threatening experience. Chloe has sworn off men; however, Ryan throws down the gloves in a fight to pursue her.

Once Upon a Power Play is an exciting and fast-paced victory for Jennifer Bonds.

Ryan is a great hero. He is recovering from a potential career-ending injury, and his girlfriend of six years dumped him. Needless to say, his confidence has taken a hit. He is tenacious, charming, and a fighter. He is a good leader and person. I like that he appreciated being normal.

Chloe has had her share of failed relationships, thus the reason for swearing off men - good thing Ryan is persistent. She is stubborn, sarcastic, feisty, and encouraging. She also gives good advice (read Ryan’s first practice back after his injury).

I enjoyed the plot, Once Upon a Power Play is an endearing story that is believable. I like how their lives intertwined. I love how Ryan and Chloe met. I adored the epilogue. It is a great story for anyone who enjoys contemporary sports romances.

An excellent fun sexy quick read. Very well written and with characters that are intriguing although I did find Olivia annoying and petulant at times. After an incredible one night stand Cole and Olivia find themselves face to face in the office and the realization that Cole just took the job/partnership Olivia had been vying for. While their chemistry is still off the charts, the animosity pouring off Olivia makes it difficult to really move forward.

A great story and I definitely recommend it.
