A lot of cute and 2003-trendy styles of do-it-yourself frame projects, starting with purchased frames to paint and/or embellish. Most of them are better than the one that suggests gluing real candy corn to the frame (at least tying a photo to the strings of an old wooden tennis racket doesn't attract mice). The best of the lot look like scrapbooking projects translated from the 2-D album page to 3-D on the walls. The broken dishes frame (china mosaic or pique-assiette) could be an attractive project but the instructions given fall far short of what you would need to know to actually create one, due to sins of omission (what KIND of grout) and commission (no you CANNOT put dishes in a pillowcase and hit them with a hammer if you expect to get usable pieces).… (plus d'informations)

With a collection of 12 different quilt blocks, the author combines two at a time to make the six beautiful quilts featured in the book and draws an additional 14 quilts using alternate combinations. The blocks are fairly intricate, so don’t expect a simple combo of snowball blocks and 9-patches. The author’s college study of Arabic tile patterns shows in her chosen blocks and combinations, with sensational results.
