Lovely pictures but nothing else. The best bits were Blanchistu and Golden Demon winners, the worst were just sales catalogue shots!

A fairly average issue with some great miniatures but not really much else.

Lots of pretty miniatures but that's it.

The four stars for this magazine are not really for the mag itself, but for the painting guide poster that came with it. The poster is on the wall by my desk and gets used a lot. There isnt a lot in this issue unless you're new to miniature painting, and if you are then this is an absolutel classic. Actually, there were a few things in here that I found useful and I've been doing this for a decade now.

This is a decent issue if you don't mind that its basically an extended advert for a single game. It's a good game, mind, with some great fluff and minis. So make of that what you will.½

Lots of pretty pictures. Blightkings and Golden Demon and Blanchistu are the best.

This was a bit of a bland White Dwarf. Despite having 153 pages there was very little in it. Highlights were the Battle Report, a cool narrative game between Dark Angels and Black Legion; a challenge where two Terminator Squads failed to chop their way through different enemies; and an amazing Blanchistu with some awesome conversions. Everything else was a bit meh.½

Not a bad one, this. Lots of lovely painted minis, some Golden Demon winners, cool Blanchistu stuff etc. Not especially noteworthy either though.½

Pretty uninspiring issue, but the Blanchistu and Golden Demon winner sections are dead good.

The first time I read this one back in 2014 I wasn't that impressed because its all about Imperial Knights and I was like, I am never going to spend £85 on a miniature but now i have one in my pile of shame and I was interested in this issue for the same reasons. Lots of ideas for modelling expensive toys.
