This Cleansing Flame (Misthaven Book 3) by J. Battle is the last and best book in the series. I loved it! If you love magic, an adventure with great characters, giants, elves, and surprises, twists, turns, and fantasy, this is your series. I loved this series so much more than the Hobbit series. LOVED it!

This Fallen Breed: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (Misthaven Book 2) by J Battle continues the story in the brilliant fantasy world of magic and adventure. The characters are so well developed, I feel I know what they are thinking .I can not say that about the plot because it is very unpredictable. There are twist and turns, then POW, a surprise I did not see coming at all. Lots of adventure, action, fantasy creatures, giants, elven folk, and so much more. I am enjoying these books much more than the Hobbit series. I received this book as a advanced reader program but it in no way effected my rating or review, it is just good! Must read! It is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone.… (plus d'informations)

This Fragile Flesh : An Epic Fantasy Adventure (Misthaven: Book 1) by J Battle is truly a fantasy readers dream. It has giants, elven folk, multiple creatures, the feel of otherworldly middle age, magic, and quests. The author weaves several stories of different groups of people and their quests together but he does it pulling it around the magic of the Wellstone. It does it so seamlessly. The adventures of each are so intriguing and unique. The characters are complex and the plot is great but ends leading to the next book. I enjoyed it, it was fresh and exciting.… (plus d'informations)

Phil is a PI and he likes to sit at his desk, drink coffee (even if his sister won't make it for him) talk to his paranoid friend hiding in the bathroom, and generally enjoy the day. What he doesn't like is when someone knocks on his door. It just brings trouble.

Aliens and squirt booths and thugs fill his day from the moment the dame walked in. (Well, perhaps dame is not quite the right term, but when your name is Phil Chandler and you're a PI you have to fit into the expectations.)

With asides from his Narrative Facilitator, Phil travels around the known worlds trying to track down two men, and stay alive.

I recommend this to anyone who loves a laugh with their alien invasions.
