This book, "When You Were Born in Vietnam" is a cute book that conveys a warm message of love and community as it teaches kids adopted from Vietnam about their home culture. I thought this book did a really good job at dealing with the topic of adoption and even includes a message at the end telling kids it's ok that they were adopted and it doesn't mean their parents don't love them. It also includes many photos of things in Vietnam like animals and farming. It also teaches Vietnamese words like the word for soup.… (plus d'informations)
