This video, part of the NOVA scienceNOW series on PBS, is about "kinetic sculptor" Arthur Ganson. Part artist and part engineer, Ganson narrates the video about his work and his philosophy.

This video would be interesting and relevant across the disciplines, from art classes on sculpture to science classes on movement/energy/engineering to poetry classes about dynamic interactions (the way that things work and move in the world together).

Ganson is a compelling narrator and the videos of his moving sculptures are especially fascinating. The four minute video is short enough to interest students in the subject without getting too technical and long enough to pique the curiosity of students who might want to learn more about these concepts.
