This is the story Robert Sayers Sheffey as told by the letters he wrote and the people who knew him. He lived from 1820-1902 in the hills of Virginia. He was a Methodist circuit rider in rural Virginia and West Virginia. His life was spent with the aim of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. He was revered because his prayers were answered so consistently.
