'The exhibition "Convoluted Beauty" includes a selection of works by Emily Carr from across her career, drawn from two major Canadian museum collections, alongside works of contemporary and historical international and Canadian artists. One work from Carr's UK period is included in the exhibition: the sketchbook for "Pause," produced during her internment at the East Anglia Sanatorium in Suffolk, UK.'
