The authors of this book seem to be reasonably well versed in Darwins theories and has found a number of 'weaknesses' in the theory. These are both examples of evolution that have been exagerated (or as the author seems to think are fraudulent), such as Haeckels drawings of embryos. His more high level analysis does not carry through, as they do not take into account the fact that entities that has developed with one function may be reused in other functions. When it comes to higher cognitive skills, which often are where creationists and proponents of Intelligent Design try to push their arguments, his arguments are mostly based on proof of reincarnation, out-of-body experience and paranormal psychology. This is characteristic of the book, as it does not seem to take the argument face on. It is remarkable that a book that wants to argue for a 'scientific claim' nowhere does actually present their own alternative theory to the theory criticized. Nowhere is provided explanations for any of the phenomena that they criticize evolutionary theory for not being able to provide explanations for or just a overview of a theory of intelligent design. The authors intend on undermining the scientific merit of evolutionary theory also some places in the book lead to funny inconsistencies when they want to exhibit the lack of credibility in both sides of an argument within evolutionary biology.… (plus d'informations)
