The book is (obviously) a parody on all the self-help books available. As the author claims, what better way to make money than to write a self-help bok (who's the super-villain now..?). All in all an entertaining read with many references to both Marvel comics, James Bond and the likes. Includes usefull advice on how to cope with superheroes as well, so all in all a very complete set of basics.

Think I'll start my own window cleaning outfit tomorrow ;-). Want to know why, don't hesitate to buy this book.… (plus d'informations)

What has window cleaning business to do with a Moon base and ruling the world? Well, to put it simply, everyone needs to start somewhere. And as everyone knows, the first steps are the hardest to make, so why not to take a self help book to your aid.

Said that, I would urge you to forget all self help books that you have read, owned or you aspire to read or own! This is the only one you will need! I admit, it is a self help book with a twist, but it still manages to highlight the importance of all the main business decisions. It answers the burning issues, such as, which industry to focus on, how to hire your new staff, guides you through the financial decisions you will need to face when your business starts to blossom (and believe me, it will!), opening new branches, decimating your competitors, all the way through to fulfilling your dreams.

Short, funny and easy read especially for people (and managers) who don’t take themselves too seriously and enjoy now and again to put their feet on the table and have proper belly laugh.

Good luck to all current and aspiring villains. May the book help you spread your wings and reach your dreams! :D

This book takes a step by step guide format, and applies it to the important decision to become a Supervillian. The guide is very tongue-in-cheek, and I couldn't help but picture Dr. Evil from the Austen Powers movies in every chapter. I especially enjoyed the section on secret lairs and cats. :) it is important to note there is a disclaimer stating that using this advice would be an extreamly bad idea.

This book had me at "Dictionary-industrial complex". I knew as soon as I saw that sentence that this was the book for me. The book then continues into a summary of the career of a man just like a certain self-help financial guru that I couldn't help but chuckle at.

Overall, the book is exactly like all of the self-help books you've ever read, only good. I am considering taking the advice and using it as my new writing/publishing plan. Taking over the world never sounded so easy.

Starting from a simple evil window washing business and progressing to worldwide media giant sounds like a simple procedure when put in the words of Ras Ashcroft. From there you take over countries, the moon, the world! It's just as simple as faking some charisma, making the correct political ties, starting your own military, and making the right supervillian costume!

This was a great short read, but the one downfall is simply what it is. It's a self-help book, and for the most part it reads like one. It's got too much information shot at you too quickly, and in much too upbeat of a tone. But I would say that the goal was definitely accomplished, it felt exactly like all of the "get published now!" and "Write a novel in a month" books (oh yeah, and that book by that guy about making money...)

Loved the book, possibly getting a permanent space in my sidebar. Go out and get this great read. It's only a buck to start your career in world domination!
