Ms. Arpquest's has written a story during the turmoil of England. A story that intertwines history with fiction. "The Duke's Lover" is a genuine tale that keeps the reader turning pages.
A must read tale of love and turmoil.

The Earl's Daughter: Medieval Romance (Lochlainn Book 1) by Dana Arpquest is the prequel in the LOCHLAINN series, it is a medieval fiction written in first person, with strong hints of romance, and clean Romance. A well written story, with a unique plot, it does have a cliffhanger. This is the story of Alys and continues giving readers a glimpse of her life of intrigue, romance, its a quick and easy to read. An enjoyable read with twists and turns, enticing characters who are strong and realistic.
Note: there are no sensual scenes, but a blossoming love affair.
I look forward to Book 2, coming soon.
