Robert Lloyd Arnold

This book is written by an Evangelical who has converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church. As with most Orthodox books, the prologue is lengthy. In this case, it also happens to be the best part of the book. Arnold's comparison of Holy Tradition with the Evangelical approach where every man is his own spiritual authority was profoundly compelling to me. Arnold says we Evangelicals are not so different from Rome, except that with us each man is "a tiny personalized image of the Bishop of Rome".
