Daniel Amory

This was a quick read. I read it in one afternoon. The story focused on a group of friends and law students in the summer before their state board law exam. All the characters seem to feel a huge amount of pressure which makes me wonder why anyone would want to be a lawyer. The stress does not seem worth it.
The writing style was better than a lot of self published books that I have read. The sentences did seem overly long at times, as the author was being very descriptive in his writing. The narrative also seemed a bit jumpy, especially in the beginning. There were leaps from one scene to the next that were very jarring. The book picked up as the story progressed. The story was an interesting slice of life.
