"Chook on Sundays": a celebration of the centenary… par Trish Ainslie
What an excellent book, especially the photos of tin huts, shacks and shelters in Western Australia around Kalgoorlie. There are some great quotes: p.47 `Had the house twenty-three years...haven't done a thing to it yet'. It's worth buying just for the photo of Cecil Mitchell, p. 49 and his house, p.48. Not the sort of book you would expect to find in Cheltenham.
