The kitsuke in this book is rather fashion forward: Western clothes are mixed with kimono in a way reminiscent of the Meiji era, wrist watches are worn, one set has soccer balls as kamon, etc.

This is more of a kitsuke manual than a style book. There are about 20 color pictures in the front showing all the kinds of kitsuke that will be explained, then a TPO chart. The bulk of the book is line drawings of how to wear kimono, tie obi (6 kinds of musubi), etc. The one unique feature is there are instructions for wearing kamishimo(!). So it may be of interest to historical reenactors or cosplay enthusiasts. A lot of what is in this book can be found elsewhere, in a prettier package.
