Both had severe childhood abuse, Kylie still hasn't recovered and Jensen not only wants to help her but keep her. It's a wonderful story, very touching how these two find their way through their past trauma. He's that wonderfully supportive we all wish for ourselves and our daughters. We also get to revisit with Dash and Joss, sneak peeks of Chessy and Tate who are the stars of the next book.

Teda pouze v posteli. Což znamená, že Kylie Jensena v posteli sváže (no, přikurtuje mu jednu ruku k pelesti), aby sex dirigovala ona a on neudělal něco, co jí ublíží, připomene znásilňování.
Jenže Jensen má taky traumíčko, jeho matku týral jeho otec. A proto je velkej dominant- aby vždy ženy chránil a nedopustil, aby jim bylo ublíženo!:-D

Giving In, book two olf the Surrender Trilogy by Maya Banks is for a mature audience because of the emotional situations and story lives.

In Book 1, Breathless threw the reader into emotional boundaries. Now the reader is asked to cross them, remembering the past, and deciding if and when to give in.

Dominance frightens Kyle due to childhood violence and abuse. But now she is being asked to surrender to Jensen, who may hurt her, or will he? Should she let Jensen fill the void in her heart, or move on?
I recommend this book and an anticipation into a future Book 3. ( )

I much prefer this authors other action-driven stories over this character-driven romance. It didn't keep my interest. I struggled to continue reading even skimming and eventually just skipped to read the last couple chapters. Jensen is attracted to Kylie but proceeds cautiously knowing she's been abused.
