Unfortunately, I got that from word of mouth instruction from my priest who visited Rome and the holy land. I will dig to see if I can find the reference he referred to.
Of course, he may also have confused a standard deck of playing cards with Tarot cards, though standard playing cards are based on the Tarot, or vice versa.

Another modern game that uses Tarot cards is "Gnostica" (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/9629/gnostica). It's a rather strategically interesting game, too.
