Welcome aboard PaperbackPirate, it is a fun challenge. I am just finishing up but I just might do it again later this year.

What did you think of The Brightest Star in the Sky? I love her books, Rachel's Holiday is one of my favorites, but her last one, The Other Side of the Story fell flat to me.

I liked it ok. It was too hard for me to keep track of all the characters! The Other Side of the Story is actually my favorite of hers that I've read so far.

Well I'm clearly not going to complete this challenge this year. Do you think I should just keep going until I do, or do you think I should start fresh in 2011?

13lkernagh
Déc 19, 2010, 1:20 pm

If it is any consolation, I have only one more book to read - "Q" title - and I will be done this challenge but I somehow don't see that happening by year end, even though it is the only book I have needed since April to complete this challenge. Now, that is embarrassing! I think you will still finish before I do, whatever you choose to do ;-)

14PaperbackPirate
Fév 5, 2011, 10:11 am

Yes, it's pretty tough to find a "Q" author! I'm going to a book sale next weekend and I plan to keep my eyes peeled for a book by Q------. Wish me luck.

Have you found one yet lkernagh?

15AHS-Wolfy
Fév 5, 2011, 5:00 pm

You get a few Q options listed here.

Fév 11, 2011, 8:26 pm

Thanks! That was nice. And helpful.

17PaperbackPirate
Juin 27, 2011, 4:57 pm

I used Antoine de Saint-Exupery as my X author. There is an X in there!

And now I only have my Q author left!

18PaperbackPirate
Juil 8, 2011, 2:28 pm

Done at last! Done at last! It only took 7 months longer than I planned. ;-)

Maybe now I'll try an ABC challenge by title...
