this is what i remember about this book
in the first chapter, the setting is in her parents bedroom (rich family or kingdom) and they are having sex. shes under their bed, describing what it was like and her parent's relationship
her father is abusive and eventually her and her mother run away. at some point they end up in France (I think Paris).
i think I remember the cover of the book being like purple or blue. very dark color scheme though.
the pov of the book is in the daughter's pov.
