THANK YOU P.A., KATHY AND JENNIFER. MY PERSEPHONES HAVE NEW, HAPPY HOMES!
It has been a strange two years during which time I realized that I cannot keep all my stuff, including my library. It finally dawned on me that as much as I loved holding a book in my hands, ultimately it was the words inside the book that had more value than the physical copy. So I had to make some decisions. I decided not to keep books I knew I would never reread. I would get rid of books that were available at the library or as ebooks. I would keep only what I loved. (My criterion was that in the coming climate disaster what would I read when the power grids failed and I could not access my ebooks. I surprised myself with what I realized I could not live without. Humm, this might be a very interested discussion topic. Am I the only person who would have some Heyer's in her 100 essential volumes?)
My goal is to have all my books in three, admittedly large, bookcases. If I have to move to smaller quarters at least I won't have to make snap decisions about what to keep and what to toss out. So, to make this long story short, I am selling my Persephones for $5.00 each plus exact shopping. Discounts for multiples. US only. Sorry my wonderful UK friends. My books were mainly purchased in Lambs Conduit St and are in great condition. I will be happy to send to third parties.
Email me at cichantk@gmail.com if interested.
Miss you all so much.
