Around 2009 I read a sci-fi short story in the New Yorker called The Slows
The writer is Israeli and I haven’t been able to find any other of her science fiction translated to English; perhaps that was her only sojourn into that genre. Anyone else heard of her? I really enjoyed the short story.

Her ISFDB page shows a story called "Dress" in an anthology in English.

>2 dukedom_enough: >3 norabelle414: yes I’d checked that but couldn’t find other sci-fi books from though there were many links in Hebrew for that writer. I’m thinking there’ isn’t anything else out there. Or perhaps that short story was later expanded into a whole novel as per the LT reference. The LT link shows a book. It’s a great short story and I’ve often wondered about her works.
