Kindly consider publishing THE GIRL'S GUIDE TO HUNTING AND FISHING by Melissa Banks as one of your stand-alone books. The books is a sublime bit of literary work, aptly compared to work by the likes of Cheever, Beattie and Carver. And Melissa Banks (had the chance to interview here back when, upon the publication of that book) was a kind, wise and talented soul (her writing output wasn't copious, largely due to an accident, as well as a first bout with cancer). If such a suggestion were wisely considered, it would, in fact, be a swell idea to double up _that_ title with THE WONDER SPOT (her sophomoric follow-up, another book of connected stories, the quality of which nearly equals her debut -- unfortunately, by the time it came out, she had been grouped -- by the lame, online and dwindling newspaper critic crowd -- into the "Chick-lit" genre, so serious attention started to wane. Unduly so.
