Sorry I've not been very active in this forum lately. I've had a very busy time at work in the past month. However, I am now pulling some long neglected books off the shelves in the hopes of reading and releasing them in October. I've started Dead Souls, the 10th Inspector Rebus mystery by Ian Rankin.

I thought I had posted an October goal but obviously I didn't. However, I wanted to read 3 TBR books in October and I am happy to say that I did so. The best of the lot was Louise Penny's latest The Madness of Crowds which is a solid addition to the Three Pines series.

>3 gypsysmom: That book is on my TBR, and I'm glad to hear you liked it. I'm also curious about the new book she co-wrote with Hilary Clinton, State of Terror.

I actually did pretty well in October and managed to finish 3 books that had been sitting on my shelves for a long time. I will be registering and releasing them shortly. I'll also add reviews to my thread eventually.
