The Collected Works of John Piper

Looks like a few days ago, a member removed every book by John Piper from all existing series and added them to a new series for The Collected Works of John Piper. Am I correct in thinking that, e.g., Desiring God is not itself a work in the "Collected Works" series (instead, it is one of multiple works contained in volume 2 of the Collected Works edition) and that The Collected Works of John Piper, Vol. 2, not Desiring God, should be included in the "Collected Works" series? Seems like the same member did the same thing for a lot of C. S. Lewis books and maybe a few others authors.

>1 JacobHolt: (And I think that then the work-to-work relationship would need to be set to show that The Collected Works of John Piper, Vol. 2 contains Desiring God and The Pleasures of God--is this consistent with general understanding/practices for these types of "collected works" series?)

"Collected works" is hardly a series. The works can be seen on the author page. A specific set of editions might be a publishers series.

I agree with MarthaJeanne - "Collected Works" are never a true series. They can be publisher series.

I'd send a note to the member who made the changes, and change what you can back to where they previously were.
