Today people are marching in various cities around the world to support science and facts—one might call it reality. Some of their signs put it very well:

Good stuff!, I signed an online petition or three on the topic but did not march - two teeth pulled is my excuse!

>2 DugsBooks: Two teeth, wow. What some people will do for science.
Hope your recovery is quick and uneventful.

I really like that last one. National Park Service, hot bed of resistance against the overlord.

I attended the March for Science in Buffalo, NY.
Some of the most meaningful signs were the personal ones like "I'm alive today thanks to a NIH clinical trial".
Here's a few others:

I went to the main march in DC! I brought some family along, too. Good times!

I went to the Boston rally, along with avaland's daughter & grandson. Filled about 1/3 of the Boston Common; a bit disappointing, but then it was raining. My fave sign was attached to a baby in someone's backpack. "Current research interests: gravity, linguistics, sociology."
