I've been trying to untangle the links to Steve Jackson (UK game designer) and Steve Jackson (US game designer). I managed (I think) to correct the wikipedia links (they were mixed up) but every time I remove the link to US Steve Jackson's website from UK Steve Jackson's page (who doesn't have a website) and add it to US Steve Jackson's page, it reappears on UK Steve Jackson's page.

Kind regards

Simon

Their parents really should have gotten together and hashed this whole name thing out ahead of time. Either that, or forbid one of them to go into games.

Does it automatically and immediately reappear, or is this someone being helpy and re-adding it?

Automatic. I remove it from Steve Jackson #1 (UK Steve) and it's gone. Then when I try to add it to Steve Jackson #2 (US Steve) it immediately appears on #1's page instead.

Maybe it would work if a distinct homepage was added to #1 before adding the link to #2's homepage, but #1 doesn't appear to have one. There's an official Fighting Fantasy website, which might be an acceptable alternative as #1's homepage, given that he's FF's co-founder and it sells all his titles.

#2: You know that Scorpion Swamp, one of the books in Steve Jackson (UK)'s Fighting Fantasy series under the name Steve Jackson, is actually by Steve Jackson (US)? I don't think you can blame that one on the parents.

Has anyone ever seen Steve Jackson (UK) in the same room as Steve Jackson (US) at the same time?

I have a photo of the two Steve's together on my company stand at Essen Speltag some time in the 1980s. We used it as the cover illustration of our magazine Small Furry Creatures Press.
