A propos de moi

i'm currently a high school student, planning to major in music once i graduate. Probably pursuing a double major in music education and trumpet performance, as well as a minor in composition (and yes, i know it sounds ambititous). My primary instrument is trumpet, performing in the concert band, jazz ensemble, and symphony orchestra, although i have also learned the cello, which i intend on playing in our string orchestra and string bass, which i hope to play in our chamber orchestra, in addition to singing bass in our advanced chorus. i love music, and i have a fondness for elgar, mahler, holst, grainger (mostly his works for band), and shostakovich.
