I don't have a huge personal library. I have two tall book cases and do not allow my collection to expand beyond their shelves. I prefer to share books with others (its a eco / anti-clutter thing).

Currently, I live in Oakland, Ca with my husband, two cats, and a dog.

I am a student at UCSF getting a PhD in Nursing. (Please don't say..."I didn't know you could get a PhD in Nursing"...or..."If you were going to go to school for so long, why didn't you become a 'real' doctor? You're smart enough.") I have been a nurse for 12 years and am now studying symptom management for patients with advanced stage cancer.

I love reading and books (obviously)...that and knitting are how I spend my little bit of free time.
