I love used bookstores and I love old books. Nearly all my books are second-hand. Those books, cover tattered, dog eared, sometimes have a mildew smell, usually older than I am, seem have their own souls and lives. And I am just one of the fortunate people who can cherish life and have a great time with those wonderful books.
Now my biggest problem is my speed of reading is far less than that of buying books. But I just can't help! - A propos de moi
- I'm Chinese. I started reading English books from 2002, shortly after I arrived in America. At first I can only read fairy tales; now I can enjoy novels and nearly all kinds of books, huge or small, contemporary or classic. Well, actually I still haven't much confidence in reading books like "Gravity's Rainbow".
I am interested in literature, children's books, scifi(just a beginner), comics, everything about nature and animals, books on books(of course!), and anything else. :)
