Well....it could be worse. I have two bookcases 6.5 x 5 ft. that are stuffed to the gills with books. It's gotten to the point that if I buy another book, I have to give a book away. Sad, but true.

Oh, and my reading? It's darkest confusia in there, as James Thurber once said. No map, no plan, just whatever strikes me.

I read like other people watch TV. It's a sickness but one I don't seek treatment from. I also suffer from a complete inability to pass by an inependent bookstore, preferably one that has cats and comfortable old chairs and has that indefinable bookstore smell. Plus, I read somewhere that books make the best furniture. While that's true, they end up being the HEAVIEST furniture you'll ever have.
