- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- I go through stages of what I love, and it is a pretty eclectic mix. While I largely read fiction, I enjoy non-fiction about the development of humans, evolution, and the impact of mankind on the earth. I have been drawn in to post-apocalyptic fiction lately (other than the zombie ones), love lots of current "literary fiction," enjoy a good Koontz novel or the Pendergast series, and many of the classics. The books I love the most are about relationships and what makes people tick, those that are thought provoking and give me a different view of a time, place, or a people. I like contemplating different futures and recognizing vulnerabilities in our human condition. . . and sometimes, I just like a little escapism. A bit of this, and a bit of that. :)
- A propos de moi
- I finally got around to adding all my Kindle library to this site - quite a chore! I am an educator, 50-something female, with a passion for reading that I fit in everywhere I can. My Kindle plays a big part in that. It is always with me, and I feel like I have a bookstore in my hand. If I am not reading a book, I am reading reviews to find out what others are reading who like the same books that I like. . . yes, I do go to work every day, but I'd rather be reading!
