A propos de ma bibliothèque
I released in April a book that helps see many of the issues in context of one hundred years ago. "Then and Now - The Seductive Genius of C. D. Gibson" is a fun, yet serious book that looks at late 19th century and early 20th century values through the illustrations and cartoons of Charles Dana Gibson. Most notable for his 'Gibson Girl', his wider body of work was a serious critique of society.

Last year saw the introduction of 'Cruel Irony: Triumphs and Tragedies of a Modern Woman.' This is a true story of woman born on the prairies of Kansas in 1896 who saw many changes in the world and herself. It's full of surprising events throughout, plus it brings the era's history to a real person.

Early in 2014 I released a book in a new genre for me: "FUBAR 2.0: A Soldier's Insight Into Military Chaos." This title had been percolating within me for years. I finally conceived of a scheme that could tell the multi-dimensional story that I envisioned. FUBAR 2.0 chronicles the screwy and sometimes shocking events in the U.S. Army, experiences that millions of others have endured.

In addition, I released three other new books. Along with an illustrated guide to preserving, scanning, and protecting slides and negatives, two other photography books followed: "Archive Photography" and "Gravestone Phototgrapy."
