A propos de ma bibliothèque
I don't have as many books as I used to have: just over three years ago, I sold most of my library to help finance a cross-country move. It was painful, but needs must. In the intervening years, I've made a conscious decision to keep my library as small as possible, so books that I've decided to keep are ones that I'm likely to reread or that I love beyond all recognition, which is why things are a bit on the eclectic side. Whenever possible, I'm a completist when it comes to series.
A propos de moi
I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy, and I also enjoy a good mystery or romance novel. I review a fairly wide variety of SF/F (and the occasional mystery) for Romantic Times and Italics (www.purplepens.com), so where applicable, I've linked to them. I don't keep all the books I review, so only the best ones get to stay in my library permanently. The rest are given away to unsuspecting friends and family members.

I do not understand why there has to be so much epic fantasy in the world. So tired of shiny things and quests and over the top evil dudes. Just stop.
