Lots of Penguins from the likes of Virginia Woolf and George Orwell, who is probably my favourite writer of all time. However, I only keep books that I know I am going to read again.

I am a bank clerk living in Stockton on Tees, which is in the North East of England. I have two kids, 20 & 21, and I'm married. Most of all I love reading, and have very happy memories of being caught up in a great story from a very young age. I read mostly recently published fiction, especially from favourite authors such as Margaret Forster, Margaret Atwood, Pat Barker, Lesley Glaistor, Sue Gee. I have also recently discovered a writer from my home town, Marion Husband, and I love her work, espeically her latest Say You Love Me.
