A propos de ma bibliothèque
Our library comprises books and other printed material concerning the history of Hingham, its families, and institutions. We also hold a comprehensive collection of local newspapers; a large collection of Civil War material, donated in honor of Gen. Wilmon W. Blackmar; a significant collection of 18th and 19th century religious tracts, sermons, and devotional literature; many 19th century children’s books; and a collection of 17th to 19th century books that were in the libraries of local families.

This on-line catalog is not comprehensive and will grow as our volunteers add entries to it. Check back often.
