- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- Eclectic- that's what I'm shooting for. I love historical fiction, time travel, science, literary, contemporary, and classics. I purchase many books- in all formats- ebook, audio, paper and hardcover. I keep very few- instead I push them on to others who can enjoy them. When I don't know of someone who would enjoy a particular book, I donate it to the library for their book sales.
- A propos de moi
- I am a dedicated, life-long book pusher. I began using LibraryThing as a way to showcase potential reads for my Senior High students. Therefore, it became neccesary to read various genres. I found that many reluctant readers were drawn to non fiction so I amped up my reading in that area which took me to so many fascinating fields of interest.
I have since retired and split my time between my passions- gardening, nature study, quilting, reading and writing. Predicatbly, I began writing in earnest when the pandemic cloistered us in our homes. It is a cliche that a retired English teacher becomes a writer, but what can I say? I have self published one book and continue to write shorter pieces. - Lieu (géographique)
