A propos de ma bibliothèque
Mostly non-fiction with a focus on anthropology, ethnohistory (Oceania and Southwest), archaeology, bioarchaeology, mortuary studies.

I have a growing library of fiction, particularly Latin American (Fuentes,Paz,Garcia-Marquez,Borges). Unfortunately I do not read Spanish well enough to parse the vernacular. I am particularly fond of Haruki Murakami since reading Wind-Up Bird Chronicle about 10 years ago. I have read nearly all his work.
A propos de moi
I am 50-something living in central MA. I was educated in Arizona (Prescott College) and New York (Cornell). I am partial to deserts and islands and oceans. Unless it is tropical, I am not terribly fond of endless green. I have lived, worked and travelled throughout Arizona, New Mexico and the rest of the American Southwest, Mexico, Micronesia, Polynesia, New Zealand, Iceland, South Africa, Thailand and Cambodia
